The new
Windrock Park Campground will be opening
on May 16th for great on site camping during the event!
If you have an RV, camper or even just a tent
call now for reservations!
The campground also has rental cabins as well as
a shower house.

POKER RUN to benefit the
ANDERSON
COUNTY RESCUE SQUAD

The Anderson County Rescue
Squad & Mountain Team are having a Poker Run on
May 24,2008 at Windrock
Mountain.
Registration will start at
9:00AM at the base of the mountain (guard shack). The Poker
Run will start at 10:00AM end at 3:00PM.
There will be a
CASH PRIZE
for the winning hand and door prizes will also be given
away!
Poker Run Maps showing all
check points will be provided to all participants.
Cost is only $10.00 per
person with proceeds going to the Anderson County Rescue Squad
and Mountain Team.
Please come out and ride
to show your support for the Anderson County Rescue Squad &
Mountain team. Remember this is the team that comes to your
aid when you get hurt or lost on the Mountain. Questions about
the ride see JR Scott next to the Snack Shack.

The National Off-Highway
Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) will conduct an
association development workshop on Saturday, May 31, in
Cookeville, TN.
The purpose of the workshop is
to bring together the leadership of Tennessee’s motorized
recreation interests including off-highway motorcycle, ATV,
four-wheel drive interests and motorized recreation businesses.

The purpose
of the workshop is to bring together the leadership of
Tennessee’s motorized recreation interests including off-highway
motorcycle, ATV, four-wheel drive interests and motorized
recreation businesses to:
Build the foundation for
a statewide motorized recreation association;
Establish a structure and
process that will improve communication and cooperation between
motorized recreation clubs;
Build a better understanding of
land management issues and how to effectively improve and
protect responsible motorized recreation on private and public
land; and
Improve the ability of the
Tennessee motorized recreation public to participate in and
effectively influence political processes.
A
registration fee of $15.00 will be charged to cover materials,
lunches and beverage service. Please register on-line using the
